Pros and cons of Food.com – Recipes, Shopping Lists & Meal Plans app for iPhone and iPad
Food.com – Recipes, Shopping Lists & Meal Plans app good for
this app is really good to find food or something to eat in your city
Love the meal suggestions. Theres always a delicious recipe for any ingredient in your fridge.
Not a deal breaker. The stores listed would only be crappy chain stores anyway. All other features are gold.
Ive been using this site for years and its nice to finally have the app!
Have tried many of these recipes and they turned out great. Love this app so convenient
Best recepie app ever. Easy to follow recepies plus you get reviews from people that actually made the recepie so you know if you need to change anything or not. I made so many meals off this app and they all turned out amazing.
Some bad moments
Will not accept my password associated with my online account. Will not allow me to change my password via email link.
It wouldnt accept my password. When I tried to reset my password, it told me my email wasnt registered. When I tried to sign up again, it told me that my email was already in use. Horribly frustrating. Deleted.
Only allows importing recipes from a few sites. The recipe editing is so buggy and rigid I couldnt handle it anymore. Im deleting and will look for an app that works. Dont waste your time.
This used to be a 5 star app but since the last update, I cannot edit a recipe (keyboard appears then disappears before I can type anything) or create a new one from scratch (it will go only so far as listing the ingredients then Ill get it out of recipe and app will crash every time I try to access it). Please fix ASAP as I use this every week and all my recipes are logged in it. Thanks!
** Update Feb 19 after another update: now I can update quantity of ingredients but I still cant update text as the keyboard still disappear before I can type anything!
Downloaded it but it always shows an error message saying it cant retrieve the menu after I log in. Sucks
After realizing that this app requires to know my position ALL THE TIME, even when not in use, and that it requires a login, I have decided to delete it immediately. I am fed up of these intrusive applications that want to know everything about me.
