Food.com – Recipes, Shopping Lists & Meal Plans App Reviews

I shut off all its permissions and now its great. At start up it bugs me for a location, I assume for its ads, but just say no The search is great, lots of ideas. Specific ingredient lists with reviews. Great app. It would be a five if it wasnt so nosy :-)

It is an awesome way to find recipes for your children to make, but they may need a little help from an adult. Otherwise it is pretty good i help my family make a lemon cake with glaze on top

Very convenient and easy to use.

The recipes are great. I wish the app would "flip" the presentation horizontally for me on my iPad though. I like the easy straight forward recipes and the option to include only my categories. Thanks. I give you a 4 star.

Fast and easy to use

Its good but to find your store (the one you shop at) it uses a zip code. In Canada we dont have that. but it functions fine with out

This is fantastic. I have access to every recipe ever. The best part is the grocery list function. I love that I never miss an ingredient and I dont have to go back to the store.

Love the grocery list on this! One click to a lot that other apps take 3-5 clicks to do. Time saver for sure.

Excellent way to keep organized and eating healthy

This used to be a 5 star app but since the last update, I cannot edit a recipe (keyboard appears then disappears before I can type anything) or create a new one from scratch (it will go only so far as listing the ingredients then Ill get it out of recipe and app will crash every time I try to access it). Please fix ASAP as I use this every week and all my recipes are logged in it. Thanks! ** Update Feb 19 after another update: now I can update quantity of ingredients but I still cant update text as the keyboard still disappear before I can type anything!

Its a great tool to plan meals, create weekly grocery list and follow the recipes everyday. Ive been looking for this kind of app. This is so far the best. Makes busy life a lot easier.

Only recently discovered this app; and I am so thrilled with the ease of use, as well as the hard work that has gone into the creation of this program, that I am now in the process of clearing any & all of my other apps related to food/recipes from my devices. This app appears to have everything - one of those apps that seems to good to be true. Therefore as it it is early days for me thus far, if I do find this app is not quite as perfect as it seems, I will leave an addendum to this review. For now I would definitely recommend it.
